This is an automatic colour changing 10mm LED. Each LED has three coloured "dice" producing the red, green and blue colours and a tiny microchip which controls the flashing of the LED. The lights cycle through Red, Green and Blue and then through the secondary colours produced by mixing the RGB. Each sequence lasts around 30 seconds.
