Making Space


Over the last two years Hackspaces have started to pop up all over the UK. With many being listed on the hackspace foundation website. Hackspaces are places where you can go to build your projects and learn new skills. Well worth checking out if there's one in your area. We've learned a lot from our local hackspace.
New Products for June!

We've just added a bunch of new products including this rather lovely bit of Arduino candy. You can find it and much more in our new product category. Some of it is due to arrive on Monday so please sign up for a product notification to avoid disappointment.

Manchester Mini Maker Faire
10th and 11th of August 2013


The MOSI is staging their amazing Maker Faire for the second time and are currently looking for volunteers to help over the weekend. They're offering a free lunch for your time.

Brighton Mini Maker Faire
7th and 8th of September 2013


This is the UKs oldest Mini Maker Faire and has a great reputation for family fun. Registration is £3 for adults with children going free. It's a really popular event so best to resister early!

Maker Faire Rome
5th and 6th of October 2013


Rome is hosting the Maker Faire for the first time this year. There's already a lot of buzz about this event as it's being organised by the Arduino team. It promises to be the hub event for Europe with makers from around the globe promising to descend on the Eternal City for the weekend. For more details seehere
